Adam, your skipper, has over 25 years experience on charter fishing vessels.

Adam has worked for a number of successful companies as a contract skipper and has picked up a great deal of knowledge along the way. All of this experience, including expert fishing and boating techniques, has been combined to create Blue Reef Fishing Charters.

Adam has logged well over 35,000 hours of offshore sea time, is a Master Class 5 skipper, and an MED Grade 2 Engineer qualified vessel master—thus, it’s fair to say that you are in the safest hands. Additionally, Adam has a solid and experienced crew around him, ensuring that you have the most exciting, rewarding, and comfortable fishing experience in Sydney.

Blue Reef Fishing Charters is renowned for landing Marlin over 200kg, and our best reef day brought in over 220 ‘keeper’ fish. Therefore, we can confidently say that we know exactly when, where, and how to catch your ultimate, monster fish!

What we provide

As part of our exceptional service, below you will find a list of what we include in our prices:

  • All quality rods, reels and baits
  • We use premium quality Dyneema braided fishing line, so you feel every bite
  • Seating, sun and rain cover
  • All fish will be cleaned, gutted and gilled (unless you would prefer to do yourself)
  • Tuition and guidance from an experienced crew
  • Modern fish finding electronics to maximize your daily catch
  • Fully licensed and insured
  • NO FISHING LICENCE REQUIRED (we take care of that)
  • A modern, fast vessel and over 1000 offshore reefs to explore and fish

What you need to bring

Here is a list of items that we would recommend you bring, for your convenience:

  • Food and drinks (ice & esky recommended on hot days)
  • Esky to carry your fish home
  • Appropriate clothing (warmer cloths during the winter months)
  • Camera or phone (you’ll want to catch you and your friends in action)
  • Hat, Sunglasses and sunscreen
  • Suitable containers for your fish
  • Wet weather gear (just in case)
  • Enclosed shoes recommended, sneakers (no thongs or bare feet)
  • Sunglasses are highly recommended for safety with fishing gear

 

We advise that you arrive at the pickup Wharf a minimum of 15 minutes prior to departure.

Any and all prohibited illegal items are NOT Allowed on board. Illegal drug usage will not be tolerated and the charter will be instantly cancelled and all passengers will be ejected from the vessel at the nearest permissible wharf, with no refund.  Please respect our rules and refer to Terms and Conditions. 

Important note: For those who are not used to being out on a boat for long periods of time, we would highly recommend that you take a travel calming tablet to help minimize any effects of sea sickness you may suffer from. We will not return early, so take the necessary precautions. In addition to that, we do not offer refunds for any passengers whom suffer from sea or motion sickness. You will be exposed to wave, swell and sea conditions. We are not authorized or permitted to administer sea sick medication.

No child under the age of 12 years old or 40 kilograms are permitted due to safety and lifejacket sizes. Our fishing charters can be long and exhausting for young children, so think carefully before committing your child to a full day.
